A U.S. Marine Corp. Vietnam Veteran and graduate from Drake Law, Jay specializes in real estate, probate and taxes. He served as the Louisa County Attorney for eight years and has served as the City Attorney for the City of Columbus Junction, the City of Cotter, the City of Letts, and the City of Ainsworth.
Governor Terry Branstad appointed Jay to the Mississippi Parkway Commission and the Louisa County Board of
Supervisors appointed Jay to the Louisa County Conservation Board.

Zana is a full-time attorney who represents clients throughout the entire state of Iowa. She has successfully represented clients in several areas of law including criminal defense, family law, real estate, landlord-tenant, breach of contract, personal injury, traffic related offenses, and more.
While at the Drake University Law school and as a student attorney at the Drake Law Legal Clinic, Zana was successful in obtaining a judgment of acquittal.
